Each hunter is allowed a maximum of three firearms to Mozambique with a minimum of 100 rounds of ammunition per firearm. The airlines restrict ammunition to 11 lbs of ammunition.

A valid firearm import permit is required before any hunter arrives in Mozambique. We can help with your application, if we get the necessary documents at least 12 weeks before the client arrives in Mozambique. We need a scanned color copy of the passport, a color copy of a passport-size photograph in .jpeg format, a copy of the US Customs form 4457 or Firearm License from your home country, the travel itinerary, and the complete details of clients such as address, contact number, email and more for hunting license application.
Clients visiting or traveling through South Africa will need to complete the SAP520 form.
